  Jacques Bermon Webster II, born on April 30, 1991, is better popularly known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) who is the American musician, rapper and songwriter. His stage name is a tribute to the name of his favorite uncle, paired with the first name of one of his idols, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label contract with Epic Records and a publishing deal with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April 2013 Scott signed a joint recording contract with Epic and T.I. He signed a joint-recording contract with Epic and T.I. Scott's first album, Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in the year 2013. In 2013 Scott self-released his first full-length album, Owl Pharaoh, and then followed it with Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first album of studio work. It featured the hit track "Antidote". The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was a top one on the Billboard 200. Scott released Birds in the Trap Sing McCKnight (2016) alongside Quavo, under the collective name Huncho Jack. In 2018, Astroworld was released to critical acclaim. It produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. In late 2019, Scott's record label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys that topped the Billboard 200. His single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott became the first artist in the Hot 100 to have three singles reach number 1 in less that a year in 2020.
