 Nathan John Feuerstein was born on March 30, 1991. His initials NF (stylized IF) are an American rapper, singer , and songwriter. The artist has released two EPs on Capitol CMG, "I'm Free" (2012) and [3and a self-titled EP released in 2014. Mansion was his debut major label album, debuted in March 2015. The second studio album Therapy Session was released on April 22nd in 2016. It reached the top spot at 12 in the US Billboard 200. His albums have earned many distinctions, including the Gospel Music Association Dove Award Rap/Hip Hop album of the year (Therapy Session). NF reached mainstream popularity through Perception in the year 2017. The album peaked on the charts in the United States at number one and was certified Platinum. "Let You Fall" was ranked at number 12 on the. Billboard Hot 100, and was a top-ten hit internationally. The Search, his sequel to his hit album also was a commercial hit. Feuerstein explained that rap was a way to escape his family members during his childhood. Feuerstein recorded songs with an karaoke machine. He recorded instrumentals as well as raps on one microphone. Feuerstein independently released Moments the album that was the first of his studio album on November 29th 2010. He released his debut single, "Alone", on August 2nd, 2011. Brooke Griffith and Tommee Profitt were the song's writers and producers. Xist Music was attracted to Feuerstein's work in 2012. The 2nd of May, 2012, Feuerstein released his debut extended version of I'm Free that included production by Profitt. The playlist included nine tracks, including "Alone". The EP also featured an exclusive version "Alone" featuring Sean Simmonds. Xist teased for the release of the self-titled extended play, NF, but Feuerstein broke off from the label after a dispute and the release of NF was delayed. Despite this, NF featured a song, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams, on the label's compilation album, Move Vol 1. He released a single, "Beautiful Addiction", on November 4, 2013. Profitt was also a guest on the track. The track featured vocals from Danielle Swift and Brady Schmitz.
